Animated Volume Bars?

I have no idea how to word this...
How do I make animated volume bars that represent the music in a video?
For example, the channel 'Monstercat' uses them in his more recent videos.

Its called audio react. You can get that done in after effects. Theres a bunch of tutorials on youtube. You basically convert your audio into keyframes that splits them in highs mids and low frequencies actually theres an easier way in after effects you can generate a audio spectrum attach your audio layer and then do all the customization and make it look sexy.
