An unavoidable milestone

While not the milestone anyone looks forward to, I'm glad I got it out of the way. Today I got my first dislike. It's frustrating that they didn't tell me why but I'm not letting it effect me too much. It's bound to happen obviously. It reminded me of when I was little and I had to get a shot. You're terrified leading up to it and, once it finally happens, it only stings for a few moments and then you continue with your day. I know it's not the type of milestone usually posted here but it's one we all hit.

It's good that you have the attitude that 'it's out of the way'. The first few are the worst but it gets better. I can't say that the disappointment will ever go away though. As popular as my channel is, I still keep an eye on/notice the dislikes.

Definitely a milestone! The more popular a video is, the more likely it is to get dislikes, so think about getting a dislike as a sign that your videos are reaching more people. Don't think on it too much - it might just be someone jealous of how many views your video has or something stupid like that. You're bound to get more as your audience grows, so keep up your current attitude!

I still remember my first dislike... I cried for a good 3 days. It was terrible. But hey, congratulations, still. It means you're being seen at least.

lol i remember when they first started doing that whole Like/dislike thing…I thought it was kinda dumb at first! But its good you have that mentality now rather than having a rude wake up call later down the line!
