Amending a video after it's gone live?

I've Got It
Have you ever had a video under perform and think, maybe this title would work better? Or maybe a new thumbnail? Would making these changes after the video has launched possibly have a positive effect?
 
I've changed tags and titles on videos a week or so after they've gone live due to under-performing in the past and got an almost instant (Just over 24 hours) boost in my views, since I changed how I titled my videos putting the film first, then my channel name I've pretty much consistantly been gaining views every day :) I've also tweaked a thumbnail once that I wasnt 100% happy with and that turned 6 views into 30 in a week when previously it hadnt grown in days
 
I've modified tags sometimes. And sometimes it has a huge effect on views, but most times I find it doesn't change much. But I keep trying you never know what tag may work. I've also changed thumbnails with a positive effect, but again mostly doesn't change
