Am I Interesting?

Life of Brendan

Loving YTtalk
Hello, I would really appreciate if you all could check out one of my most recent videos and let me know if it held your attention. The video is most me talking about military training and stuff that I'm going through but also includes some clips of my Platoon shooting off some high explosive artillery shells. Please let me know what you think/how I can improve

So I don't know if I'm qualified to review this video haha but personally to me, I didn't find it all that interesting. Like it was interesting in the beginning but to me, I think the video was just a little bit too long. I can see how other people may like it though but I guess I just wasn't that interested in the topic itself. The clip of the Platoon shooting was cool though!

Fair enough, what do you suggest doing to make things more interesting?

Hmm, for one, I think the video should be shortened. And also, I suggest adding more energy, maybe make some jokes here and there. I don't want you to feel that I dislike your video though haha, I actually think it's pretty good! It's very HD

Are you still in FABOLC? (Assuming FABOLC, my friend is there right now). Sorry if that's off topic, just curious because I'm not completely interested in the topic or I would have gone FA (just a pog here lol). For civilians, it might be pretty interesting, but if you are looking to pull in veterans, they might say "no thanks".

Of course, none of this is factual, I'm just taking a guess!

Don't worry, I have thick skin. I really appreciate the feedback and will take it into consideration[DOUBLEPOST=1480262497,1480227316][/DOUBLEPOST]

This might be a long shot but I'm guessing your friend is Hutton. And I see what you're saying, do you have any suggestions for what would make things more interesting for non FA personnel?

Not Hutton, I think she is a few weeks out from graduation.

Anyway, the best way to pull in military personnel is through humor, really. If you poke fun at yourself for dumb mistakes you make as a 2LT (enlisted love that), or talk about the differences between combat arms and support. Those are all I ever see on Facebook lol

Those are some pretty good suggestions, I'll definitely try to incorporate more humor and will probably make a combat arms vs support video (after a few more months in)
