Hello everyone!

First of all I am a gamer. My YouTube channel is a gaming channel. Even though YT is saturated with it, I do upload quite a bit of Minecraft. Actually, I have posted less and less Minecraft in the past month and have started to focus on quite a few different games.

Since March of 2013 I have uploaded roughly 250 gaming videos. Most of them are between 20 - 30 minutes. At the time of this post I have 247 subs and almost 12k views.

I love playing, commenting, and editing but am I uploading too much? Am I just over saturating my channel with too many videos? I know there are plenty of "bigger" channels that upload this much, but for a channel my size am I doing too much?!
 
In my eyes yes you upload too much, but if you like who cares? If you want to make 4 videos every day it's your choise. As long as it doesn't get in the way of your normal life go for it, else try doing less videos.
 
Bigger channels often upload twice a day or more because they do not have any worry of being spotted and growth. They already know they have an established fanbase that will always see their new videos, and it won't get skipped by or missed because they uploaded more than once. Smaller channels however don't have such a luxury, and you should watch, and uploading 2-3 videos a day can mean some people will miss the fact you uploaded a new video. While the new layout does make it easier to see new uploads at a glance that you may have missed, just be careful of this, as not everyone checks the individual channel pages for updates, especially when people have maybe 5, 10, 20, maybe even more videos they will watch.

EDIT: Don't mistake that I'm saying you should upload less, if you are quite happy to, and it works, go ahead, just maybe even give one video a day a try, see if you get a higher view count per video.
 
While constantly uploading videos can show consistency and enthusiasm, one thing you should pay attention to is what new viewers will see. So if a new viewer comes to your channel they're going to check out your latest videos. If they go and check them out and you've put out 10 allright videos in the last week, they're only going to look at the most recent two and probably leave. But if you'd only put out two videos over the last two weeks, but they were amazing, they're going to see those two and probably subscribe. Now I'm not saying to only post a video a week, the point I'm trying to make is just to concentrate on what new viewers will see at any given time. I haven't seen your videos as I don't have much internet at this moment, and by all means only do this YouTube thing in a way that will still allow you to enjoy it, but maybe put more attention into the quality even if it means reduced quantity.

So you are uploading 2 videos a day? That's quite too much my friend! And pay attention to the video's length too! 20-30 minutes is quite too long, I would say 12-15 mins is ok, but because I'm still a small channel, I always try to cut the video length as much as I can, because no one wanna spend all 15 mins for my video :( Sadly.
 
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for the wonderful replies! i wanted to take some time and think about what you all have said. I really enjoy making videos. I do it more for entertainment than anything else. I'm not really in it for monetary gain.

That being said, I would like to have more viewers and subs. I think I will try backing off and focus more on the content of each video. This may help with that.
