How do people that sing covers ..supposedly not allowed ,do they get permission or not ? Is it even possible,unless the artist is a friend or are you are big and famous... or its a parody?
So recently marina the I quit girl got about 11 mill and counting for her video done to a kanye west rap that used some elses music..Now kanye wont give his own Ho money so he aint given little Mo any of that video cash,I am sure she did not know it would be this big ...so did she get permission,if not should it be taken down ....and if it is making kanye money he wont want it taken down ,do they come to a deal,..So basically I want to know why there are so many covers ,so many lyrics pages,when one of the basic questions before posting is

Well, I've done a cover, but I can't monetize it, it is monetized for adele I think. And hum, if you are with a network, some of them allow you to do cover and get money!

This is a major point. Several networks provide music licenses for their channels.
 
well the word "Cover" gets thrown around, taking a direct instrumental from a song is against the law regardless, to do piano with vocals, guitar with vocals, what ever is completely legal and can be monetized. As far as songwriter credit, lemme put it blunt, the music industry doesn't care.
 
It is risky, my friend did piano covers (no singing) and he wasn't able to monetize his videos. I'm not sure about the exact rules, but it is hard to do covers without a network that has licenses.

is that fershizzle,right no holding me back now.,sorry to be a pain can you show me if that is written somewhere ,i would really appreciateit....i did an abbA parody and someone made aclaim

Parody is a semi-separate issue, and legal so long as it is clearly a parody.

But it is completely true that you have to create your own music track, even if it's for a parody. You cannot use the original artist's, but you can recreate the track to the best of your ability.

dont need it written anywhere, but if you like type in "Copyright rights" in google, but lemme explain in a way anyone can understand, if you show yourself playing the piano or guitar or what ever while singing and such, what ever you produced during that time is 100% yours, even if it sounds like something else. "No one can prevent you from being yourself", its actually a defense strategy in a court of law.

THanks ,I aalways thought they wrote the Music it is theirs,so you cannot use iot or just small parts
