Anyone want to help me with an editing problem?
This is driving me crazy!
Ok so i use HitFilm express for editing (and sometimes when I'm lazy i use moviemaker shhhhh..)
And I'm trying to put footage from my iPhone into a new project but it isn't detecting the file location and of course since I'm stupider than a brick i have no clue what to do!
Does anyone have a solution to this?!
 
You need to move the video from the phone to the computer before you begin editing it. If you are on a mac, you can do this through iPhoto, and if you are on PC, there is an equivalent built in program, but I don't remember what it is called. You cannot edit the video straight off of the phone though. It must be on the computer to import into any editor.
 
Lets not go there guys, we all know Blackberrys are the ultimate phone experience ;)

@the op are you moving the files for the videos from your iPhone to your computers hard drive first and then into the editor? If not you could try doing it that way.
