I'm not that good at making thumbnails haha but i dont want anyone else to do it. Im learning graphic design in collage(and a few other things) and i think this would be good practice for me which is why i want to do it myself.

I want to have a theme between my thumbnails and these are the two versions that i came up with, their both a work in progress but any advice on how to improve would be awesome and also which version you like better.

For this one I was trying to go with my logo in the right corner, a green tent(because thats one of the colors in my logo) with a black bar blending over the picture and a white text.

Same green tint with a bar blending differently horizontally, white over black text with logo in right corner. The first set is more visible in my videos section but i havent uploaded them for the public to see so im not sure how big the thumbnails would look after being searched. So im hoping that they both are readable. I know there both horrible but I can use any advice/suggestions lol. Im actually thinking of dropping the green tint.

Personally I think it's better if you don't use a lot of text in the thumbnail, often they are small and people can't read the text. For example with the mic review, use a bold colour and then the text

Blue Yeti
VS
Razer Kraken 7.1

It makes it easier to read. Don't use the white font is it's a light background. That makes it really hard to read
