When making a skit that has a lot of different scenes how do you stay or ganize and how is your set up i guess its called? What are your steps to prepare? because i sometimes get a little confused when im doing an actual skit and i have many scenes so im just curious as to how some of you guys do it.

P.S. -sorry if i confused any of you ididnt know how to word it!

Usually I just make sure I write down each of the scenes I want, what will happen in each scene and then check them off as they're complete. If its more of an improv thing, then I write down what I've done so far and try to piece together what I have to make sure it makes sense.

I normally have a screenplay of what's going to happen and sometimes improvise a bit, I play 2 people talking to each other so if I say something I HAVE to say a reply or it looks stupid :p

Get the idea, write out a script, write out a shot list (and a storyboard if I have an extra cameraman), plan out locations and get the crew. Then shoot the skit :)

I also go over the script and sometimes try out the shots beforehand to make sure its either funny or to just make sure it works.

When setting up equipment for a skit.
It really depends on how and where you set up. If we are shooting in a well lit area (mostly outside), all I would really do is make sure my camera exposure is correct and have the sound correctly set up to capture the best sound. That's usually my quick way for run and gun film-making.
But if you are shooting inside, i would either shoot where there is a lot of light or try to set up a 3 point lighting plan.

I don't for it to sound like I'm shameless self promoting myself, but I recently made a video describing how I set up to get better lighting and sound on a low budget. If you go to my channel, you can check it out. But in any case I hoped it helped :)
