Advice for first montage?

Cabbage Hunters

I Love YTtalk
Hey, so i'm putting together our channel's first funny moments montage, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for that kinda thing?
So far i've compiled every clip I deemed worthy of being considered for the final cut, but I haven't actually started the editing process for it.
Right now it's about 25 minutes worth of video but I don't want the final cut to be that long.

So yeah, any advice?

Also, I kinda like the uncut version by itself but im biased. Whats your opinion on releasing an uncut version along with the final product? Good idea or nah?

I'm more of a montage person than a full playthrough kind of guy, so yeah I get this.
You could split them into different parts, if it's too long for you. I have like, 30-40 minutes of footage that I'm editing into 4 short and sweet parts or so right now.
As for the actual editing, I personally love using music, sound effects, little graphics and other dumb stuff like that.
About the uncut version, I'd say go for it, although there's little chance that people would really watch the whole thing through, especially if you're just starting out. Channels that I watch frequently (like Funhaus) release their uncut versions of their videos later, and I see a significantly less group of people watching those.

I think I phrased it wrong in the intro. I don't mean its just a funny montage - like that kinda thing is most of our videos.
This one in particular is a highlights video, or a "Best of Cabbage Hunters Compilation". All our best moments up until this point in time.

So I dunno, like I could split it up into a couple videos, but I kinda wanna maintain it all into one video as a marker in the timeline kinda thing.

If you need music for this montage, I'd love to make the music for it and for any of your other future projects that need it. I make electronic music and tend to branch out a lot. I just thought I'd let you know that I'd interested in making music for something like this. Thanks! =)

Hey thanks man. We already got a set music we use for montages, but we'd definitley be interested in some outro music if you got anything for that.

That's cool. You'd probably have to check my Soundcloud, if you want to use something that I've already done. However, I like doing intro/outro music, background music, film music, etc. So I'm sure that we could find something for you.
