Advice for Fellow Newbies regarding the "About" page

I've only been a Youtuber for 3 months but I'd like to share one thing I recently learned.

I've noticed that so many Youtubers, both new and not so new, neglect the About section of their page. Sometimes they only have a few words or just a sentence. When I promote my Youtube Channel on Facebook (not an individual video but the whole channel) the first sentence or two of my About page comes up.

My point is, make sure you don't neglect to write a nice bio about yourself and your channel. It just might be viewed by potential subscribers and sponsors more than you might think.

I just updated my About page and would love to hear your opinion.

Definitely something you should do. For one, it helps some people get a sense of what your channel is about, it also helps with increasing your search results for your specific channel or niche.
