Adsense earnings drop for January

After all the huff and puff about a mega earnings drop in January, following a very good December, it was interesting to see the actual difference in the (final) pre release payment figure.

I'm actually down 11.2%, which is pretty much in line with what I expected, going on previous years.

So what did all the doom and gloom merchants achieve :)
 
I 'am actually up like 300% because I only started my channel mid december, now I can afford a slice of pizza.
 
Good for you, but being a newbie I'm afraid you don't qualify in this contest.

When I saw my earnigs in January I wanted to kill myself...

Ok maybe not, but I just didn't expect it can be that bad... My RPM was somewhere around $0.30 which is 5 time worst then in September.

It's so sad :(

really? 0.30? I had only $0.10 with Maker
 
Our earnings dropped 45% from December to January--and this could have been worse, because our views actually increased by 35% in January!
But, comparing January to December isn't really fair, because December really is the best of the 12 months for ad revenue.
