Adobe Premiere Pro Help

The editing and preview window don't match. As I'm trying to edit, it doesn't show in the preview window.

Suggestions?

I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro Cs5.5

When you are editing in Adobe Premiere you have two windows, your preview and your canvas. Your edits will not show up in your preview, only in your canvas. Preview is simply for previewing your video.
A few years ago I made a walkthrough on how to use premiere. If you would like me to message it to you let me know.
It will walk you through everything you need to know =)

Here, take a look at this image

The Left Monitor is the source monitor, from here we look our video, and also can select the parts i want to work in the sequence, The sequence monitor is where i can watch my main video, the one i'm making in the timeline, To be sure that i have the right set up for editing, go to Window- Workspace- Editing ( to be sure Window - Workspace- Reset Current Workspace...)

I was able to figure it out. Thanks for the help. I reset my workspace and everything went back to normal.
