Adobe CS6 anyone?

Dylan: Anyone have any experience with the Adobe CS6 Suite? Skyler has said good things about it, but I've yet to try it myself. What are some good improvements you've seen. Would you recommend I get it? I currently have CS5, but CS4 After Effects.

I have used Photoshop CS6 before and I like the new features but I cannot stand the default interface colour, other than that it works nicely but personally I wont be upgrading as most of the extras I tend not to use. Thats the only experience with any of the CS6 suite that I have.

UPGRADE! UPGRADE! UPGRADE!
If you are a Premier or AE user, the integration is simply amazing in CS6. They have fixed so many problems!

We used to ONLY use Final Cut Pro 7, and when FCPX came out, we didn't want to switch (I don't like FCPX at all).

We use Nuke, Maya and After Effects and were starting to have problems with FCP7 and it's ability to import/export/play nice with these other programs.

Once CS6 came out, it was a whole new world! Everything is an improvement over CS5.5 and it's light years ahead in speed compared to CS4 and makes CS3 cry.

CS6 features the Mercury Playback Engine and it is just amazing for speed.
Renders that would take me 2 hours in FCP7 only take 15 minutes using CS6 on the same machine!

If you can afford it, it is worth every penny!
It will save you so much time!

I have to agree with epiem.
I used the CS5 and CS5.5 suites extensively, CS6 is a MAJOR upgrade for speed, it's ridiculous how fast I can work now.
The 3D tracker in AE CS6 sounded like a good idea but the lack of manual controls makes it useless for visual effects, but if you do motion graphics you will love it !

We use Nuke for 3D tracking. You can get the same "plugin" from Nuke for AE, which is CameraTracker from *The Foundry* but it just isn't nearly as good -or fast- as Nuke.

I love Nuke and use it more and more, but for some reason I prefer PFTRack for 3D tracking, love the interface.
