Accidental View Fraud

I was amazed that my views were going up on my recently posted video every time I refreshed, but then I started noticing that it was one view for every time I refreshed. I hit it like 40-50 times before it was clear. Will YouTube get mad at me for view fraud, or are the views not actually me, and just really conveniently timed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh okay, so they just trim everything off at once to be more efficient server wise. Thanks for the clarification. How often do these audits occur?

I'm not sure, it's only happened to me once in the 8/9 months I've been doing YouTube

I bet it will happen if I hit the key 300 mark. I'll just leave it be, and only check every once and a while.

This is why I just look at the views on my video manager page, not the video page itself. You should be ok, but no need to view/refresh your video page with that information is in the video manager (which I refresh obsessively). ;)

When I read the title, I thought you were going to say, " I *accidentally* started a view bot." Lol, this sounds much more harmless :) Glad it is all working out
