About Green Screen

Next Level TV

I've Got It
Hello friends,
this is my new video of "The Next Level Show" (look for english subtitles) with a Mortal Kombat parody :)
I would like to know your opinions and comments about the use of green screen: what do you think? Is there a way to completely eliminate the annoying edge around puppets (especially here, 5:48 min.)? I use Sony Vegas but there're only 3 options that allows me to fix this...

Thank you in advance for your help :happy2:

Some programs offer a way to "choke" in on the greenscreen. but the trade off is you lose some edge detail. Unless you have pro-grade greenscreen setup/lighting. You simply do the best you can. For film work with Nuke compositing, you can use the Dilate node...which when you push to negative values...erodes the alpha matte inward. a pixel will usually do. Not familiar with Vegas.

My keyer of choice is Keylight, with layer based software for comping I use After Effects, node based...Nuke, but using Nuke for youtube is WAAAAAAAAAY overkill and never would.

See if Vegas has a Choke or Erode matte feature. Then you may want to soften the edge of the matte by a pixel or half pixel to smooth. All I can offer.
