A slowdown in growth

Has anybody seen a slowdown in their usual growth speed? My typical channel growth is nothing to write home about, but I would average about 8-10 subs a week, now I'm averaging about 2 (if that).

If you've faced the same challenge in the past, how did you identify the "problem" and what did you fix it (if anything). Any help on this is really appreciated.

Same here, views are doing great subs are god awful at this time.

No real 'problem' we have identified really it's just swings and roundabouts. Just keep making content and see if it picks up it's what we do, promote a ton aswell.

Yeah I think it’s this time of the year, so many people are busy around the holidays. Hopefully it will pick up after the holidays.

From personal experience, I've seen a random "pattern" (If you can call it that) that happens every now and then where all of a sudden I get a bunch of subscribers, and then all of a sudden I lose a bunch, or gain a lot and lose some etc... That's without me actually changing anything about my videos or content as well, so it is kind of weird.

As long as there is still growth, and as long as any growth doesn't randomly start dropping and dropping without getting better, I honestly wouldn't worry. It could be due to YouTube's way of tampering with things all the time, or it could just be a certain time of year that most people dont bother with YouTube as much etc...

As mryorkiesworld said, i wouldnt worry too much about it as long as ur still gaining sub's im sure it'll pick up again soon
