A separate vlogging channel?

So I have a main channel at the moment were I do entertainment videos which are higher in quality. But next week I'm moving to LA and I want to do a lot more vlogs with my iPhone at random places. It would be like a daily thing. Do u guys think I should start a separate channel for this? Or is it good if I use 1 channel for all types of videos? Please help me cause I'm totally lost and I don't know what to do

I think gaming and vlogging can go together only if you are focused on the gaming side and doing only afew vlogs
(and vise versa)
but if you want to put alot into both then split them up, because they do tend to have different audiences

If you started off one type of video on one channel stick to it, I wouldn't start throwing in VLogs with your current videos as your subs are subscribed for that type not VLogs, I would make a new channel for VLogs.

It's different imo if you're starting a new channel.

I'm actually not doing gaming videos on my main channel I just sit in front of the camera and talk random s**t. But I only upload once a week or once every 2 weeks. I fought it would be nice to put vlogs on the channel but I don'T know. What do u guys think?

I say separate channel. I've unsubscribed from several people because, while I liked their main videos, I hated sifting through their daily vlogs. Keep content separate as well as you can, I think.

I think you should just upload to that one, and then sort your LA vlogs into an LA playlist

Yeah but u know like jenna marbles has 2 channels the main channel and a blog channel. I wanna do videos like her on my main channel and on my vlog channel just random things every day. I'm afraid losing subs if I upload to 1 channel

I think you should do that when you have more subscribers
people wont subscribe to the other channel then if you don't upload to it that often

I kind of have the same predicament. I have a lot of different interests and videos that I like to make, but that led me to six YT channels which was insane.
I separated them into two channels: "professional videos", like demo reels and tutorials and "my other channel" is for the other vlog-style/personal videos.

In the end, I think it depends on what you want to do. If you want to manage two channels and try and get subscribers on both of them, do it. If you'd rather just keep one channel to maintain, choose that.
