A quick question

What does it mean if someone says that I have videos posted to my channel that I do not own? Does it mean that the videos I make aren't mine?
 
It could mean many things ask them to be more spacific.
It could also mean your videos may include material you do not own/own the rights to. This can include music images any type of media at all. Remember for anything ANYTHING you use you need to have the rights to use it. This could be a simple image , a song or a sound effect.

That's all they've really said :/ They mentioned copyright separately to this though so that's why I was wondering if what they meant was something else
 
They could be referring to the gaming content. The images/video technically belong to the game maker, although most have been pretty lax in enforcing it, and some even explicitly allow this type of use.
 
If you don't mind me asking who is this person you speak of? a Network or someone like that? I only ask so maybe I can help you more :)

Yeah it was SocialBlade. This is the email they sent me when I applied:

We really appreciate you getting in touch about joining our network.

After reviewing the content on your channel, we have determined that we cannot bring you into the network at this time. It appears that your videos are primarily based on content you may not own or have the appropriate rights to.

You might have been denied for the following reasons:
1. You are using copyrighted music in your videos that you do not have the artist's permission to use.
2. You do not have relevant audio commentary over ALL your gameplay videos.
3. You have videos posted to your channel that you do not own.

Keep in mind that the first reason is a complete lie, second is true and the 3rd is what I'm a bit confused about XD
 
Ok I would look at your channel but im at work so I can’t but I’ll just take a few educated guesses based on my experiences with SocialBlade. I was rejected the first time because some of my videos did not have enough commentary over them. You cannot just upload gameplay you need to have commentary with it, so make sure all your videos have commentary. They didn’t give you an example of a video violating their requirements?
 
Bear in mind that the email could just be a standard denial email template. Like if you get denied for a credit card etc, you always get the same email/letter:

"You may have been denied because:
A. You're a vampire,
B. You don't actually exist,
C. Your credit history is just shocking!"

It's ok if you can't check my channel out :) And I've only found out that gameplays must have commentaries XD Also, no they have not :/
