I wouldn't take what people say online, as an insult... They're people you're likely not going to see... Ever... So don't get caught up in it. It's kind of pointless.

I also think it's pointless to have a reply button if you don't want it.

Well if you don't want people to reply to your stuff, then it should be quite clear that you shouldn't comment on videos... It kind of defeats the purpose of the whole comment section. Sure it wouldn't hurt to have an option like that for your personal account, but it is, without a doubt, a waste of time for those who actually have to make those changes. If you're getting "Spammed" just flag it as spam, or block the user so you won't get replies through that account again. Or maybe just ignore it like mature people do. I don't know.
