A bit scared to share my idea.

I have an excellent idea for a milestone video I am almost at 50 and want to make a parody of something.

I am not sure which character should I redo but I will have to share the idea with you guys first. I don't know many people here and I am scared that I will come across another YouTuber from the community that might have taken my idea. I know it sounds stupid but I like my own work and hate it when people take credit for my work.

Did this happen to any of you ?
Am I safe ?

You should be pretty safe sharing your ideas here, I don't think we've has any problems with people stealing other peoples ideas. If you don't want to share it just keep it secret so it will be a surprise when we see the video ;D
 
The way you make threads so close to each other is like you jotting down voices in your head that retreat for a few days.
 
Happy to see their so many people helping :D No need for protection after all.

Now that I have that horrible joke out of the way. Ok here it goes.

I don't know if you guys know this show called teen's cribs ? If you don't I will explain. Its basically all these popular people showing the place they stay. Usually its people that own like 5 cars and have a mansion then they show the house to everybody that watches the show. Also they tend to freze on like expensive items and give it the items specs.

My video will be a parody of that called student's cribs. I live in a studio apartment. I will start at my back door walk in and show my spaghetti mop in the hallway ( If it is one lol ) then freeze on the mop giving it specs. 1 m tall/ black grip/ 3+ noodles. While I read 3+ noodles I will say directly after. I did not count them. The camera will cut away to where I am sitting on the toilet trying to count to 3 and give up counting. Cutaway back and then we walk into my room. I will show them my couch give it some funny specs. Then my gaming setup with funny specs. Then I will show my hamster cage and hamster and so on. After that I move to my fridge and show my fridge funny specs. Then above my fridge is a cuppboard I thought of filling it up with 2 min noodles ( easy to make food and almost all the students buy it here ) When I open the cupboard the 2 min noodles just poor on me. I look at the camera man start moving in the direction and yelling turn off the camera. Then next cutaway is to the couch again where I tell the audience thanks for watching student cribs.

I am still working on some things to add and the specs I want include in each item and left out a lot of detail because I can't describe some things I have an idea about. Also I was not sure which character to go as. A complete nerd ( sorry if someone found this offensive ) with glasses and my hair combed to the side. Jeans, a white t-shirt and glasses. The shirt is tugged into my jean. Then speak the complete episode as a shy person or a cool guy that has a hoody with jeans made up hair in the cool sleek way. Then speak like those home boys kind of accent.

if you're really paranoid, best to not reveal it :)
But I know most people here wouldn't think of using other peoples ideas. And if they do, they probably would credit the person in some way.
