5 Seconds Intro For Prank Channel (Comedy Channel)

This is an intro for a comedy channel and I need some feedback, please.

This 5 seconds intro is supposed to play in every video at the start or after a short attention grabbing scene. The channel is a prank channel.


I need some feedback to know what to change:

• How does it look (Does it look professionally edited? Are the text, fire etc. a harmonic overall image or uglily/inconsistently mixed together components?)
• How do you think it will perform for branding (Will viewers remember the name from those 5 seconds? Would it make viewers want to subscribe? Is the text too dark to read conveniently?)
--> Is it annoying to watch in every single video? (I already decreased the volume by 50% but maybe should decrease more. Please compare the volume to any other videos or music and then assess if it's annoying or alright)

And what would you change to improve some of the above mentioned criteria?

I think it's a pretty solid intro, but for some reason I don't like it.

Not that I don't like the design of it, but after watching your first video you don't seem like the kind of channel that has an intro. You have a very catchy YT banner, channel name and your first video is quick and packs a punch, I feel like the intro slows it down.

May just be me, but I think your content says enough.

Thanks for your advice but the intro is only for upcoming videos. You're right that it would slow my first video down as it's pretty long and already begins with 15 seconds of text.

I will mostly have 2-5 min videos, each consisting of multiple short scenes.

What about the volume - too loud?
Is the background music clip suitable or just noisy?

In that case I enjoy it!

Two things I would suggest would be...

1. Instead of fading to black, maybe have the logo fly back out again, just as it came in? It keeps the action packed intensity. It flies in, wrecks s**t and then flies back out.

2. I think the music needs to be just like 1-2 seconds longer with a smoother fade. It kinda cuts out really quick, but it's a really good song choice.

Cool, thanks!! I've implemented both of your suggestions. I have added the new intro to this thread. It's now 6 seconds long, the music fades out till 7th second while the next prank scene starts.

Do you or somebody else still have any idea for improvements? Even the slightest detail, any possible improvement is helpful. Thanks!!
