5 Fun Facts about Paul Rudd before you see Ant Man!

I've Got It
Hello Fellow FIlmigos!

I'm starting a weekly series called TOP 5 THURSDAY. I will provide 5 facts about an actor in an upcoming movie release!

Here is the first one: Paul Rudd. Let me know what you think!

Liked it, but wasn't crazy about it, but it's pregnant with potential. Couple of suggestions:

1. Transitional slide between questions, perhaps with a cheesy question related graphic and bump up the background music with these slides. This will give a visual "break" within the video. (if they look like a film strip or something else movie related, that would be cool).
2. More of the mouth-cutout effect to make it look like your having a conversation with the subject of your video, or use it within the transition slide. Perhaps have it criticize your jokes.
3. Keep the crappy cut-out look of the subject, adds to the humor factor.

Like I said before it's pregnant with potential, looking forward to more!

Echoraven,

Thank you for your comments! It was my first time, and I noticed things I need to change as well.

1) I agree, I need to figure out how to do a creative swipe instead of just having the text slide in from the sides (better than just sitting there). And I need to have some sound during those transitions as well.
2) I was initially thinking to do have a fake conversation with the actor and use the cutout. It does look funny and is entertaining. So I will use it more. I like your idea of having him pop up between questions. (I just have to color correct my mouth to closer match the photo.)
3) Ok. I'm glad you were ok with the crappy cut out. I wasn't sure if that would translate well or people think I was lazy. If people start saying it's too lame, I can crop it better.

I do like this format a bit better than my TOP DAWG weekly thing I was doing before. It's easier and faster to do.

Keep the comments coming in. The good thing about YT is that you can always change and improve!

NNNNOOO!!!!!! I think the color mismatch (that I didn't really notice) adds to the fun factor

A good clean cutout would make me think that your trying to give the impression that he's really there, a crappy cutout let's me know that your having fun with this. I like the crappy cut out, I think it fits your intended purpose better.

Been toying with the idea of creating quicker format videos since mine take a very long time to create.
