3rd party content on a lets play?

Hi,

Im interested in your opinion on this as I'm a little worried I may lose my channel. Not overly worried as hardly anyone knows I exist it seems but all that work i've done may be wiped off and thats my biggest concern.

The weird thing is I was uploading each part for my ToeJam & Earl lets play video. every part is fine and I have not added any music or anything just my voice over. There are 12 parts, 10 mins long each and its only near the end of part 10 that has been marked as 3rd party content because it has the theme tune for toejam and earl??
Well of course it does. So does each and every part of the lets play because its the in-game music?
Much like everyone elses lets play of this game they have not encountered the same problem. So I have disputed this. Even in the description I give a brief history of the developers and the game itself for educational purpose.
I disputed stating I believe this to be a generic computer mistake. lets plays are user generated content and if its marked for 3rd party content then surely it would take in account every other episode and the entire footage not just near the end?

When disputing it says they will take everything into account but if they dont agree then its basically fraud and your channel will be deleted. So the general warning however it is still a little worrying. My PC died and now I can potentially lose everything i've uploaded as well........not having much luck lol

what do you guys think?

I think you'll be fine man.

As long as your dispute is similar to what you've said above then I think it'll be resolved no problem. The video will have been automatically flagged by the system so it'll just be a case of staff checking and unflagging it. Take what I say with a grain of salt because you never know but your dispute seems reasonable.

I wouldn't worry about it :p

Cheers govenor! Yeah thats what I was thinking. Seems a computer finds a section of code and goes NO!! HOW DARE YOU!! I've heard some other stories about the system flagging peoples work when its actually themselves who created the music lol
Fingers crossed its taken off with no problems

Yeah man that's it. They have an algorithm that'll detects licensed music and it probably ends up flagging videos for no real reason. Hell, some people have been flagged because they sang a song lol
