3D Video editing?

I did a quick search, but couldn't find anything about editing 3d video. Is there any freeware that can handle 3d? Max resolution is 720 in 3gp format I think. It will be from a phone that I should get sometime next week. (HTC evo v.) I know it's not the best thing for video but I thought I would just play around with the 3d and see what I could come up with.

Thanks in advance

I almost forgot... I'm using Windows 7 and Android 4.0...

Thanks for the link. I already have Windows Movie Maker, so I'll give it a try when I get the phone. My only concern is if Movie Maker can handle the dual video tracks in 3d video. I'll post the results if it works.

Well, I edited and uploaded a test video to my channel. Windows Movie Maker seems to work alright for 3d. There is a problem with the title and credits. When I create them, they're 2d. Uploaded to YouTube and with the appropriate 3d selections checked, they turn into splitscreen on my channel. I'm thinking of trying captions on a 3d still frame to see if that might work. Anyone have any experience with this?

Depends on how the phine exports the 3d footage. There is no "native support however for 3d. The industry standard is that the phone exports the footage as a single file and does the 3d in itself, there are no dual vidoe channels as far as im concerned. So with that settled any video editor will work. But if you do youtube you really should have something better than wmm

I also have AVS version 5.1, but I honestly don't know what I'm doing with it yet. I've messed with it some before I got a laptop with Movie Maker installed and I spent too much time starting my project over. Yeah... I really messed it up that bad... You're right though. It's really loaded with options compared to Movie Maker.
Regarding the footage from the phone. It has dual cameras to capture in 3d. Played in VLC the video is dual images side by side. Don't know if that makes any difference. Movie Maker did process the video like it would any other 3gp file. It's just when I uploaded the video to YouTube, the title screen and credits were split to 2 side by side screens during 3d playback. In 2d, the title and credit screens look okay. But then the 3d content is split just like during playback in VLC. Maybe I should do what Jazzy said and render the title and credits in 3d, then add them to my video. I'm thinking that I could put captions on some black 3d video. If that doesn't look good then I'll just have to mess up a few more projects with AVS until I get it right. Hopefully, I'll have time to try again this weekend.
Oh, and thanks to both of you.
