300 subs - This is Sparta!

Was hoping it would happen while I'm at the Oktoberfest in Munich with friends but now it's 1 day late. Nevermind! 300 subs! Yay! The Spartan milestone!

Took me around 6 months for the first 100 subs, then 5 months for the second 100 and now 3.5 months for the last 300. Let's see if this continues but for now I'm just glad that I kept it going for over a year with a video almost every week. Phew!

Thanks to everyone at YTtalk, too. Always good to come back here and get some inspiration and tips!
 
The first few hundred take the longest from what I hear and my own personal experience. Once you get around 500, you will notice that you start to grow exponentially. At 800+ right now, I am gaining almost 150 subscribers per month. I hope you have a great time with the rest of your YouTube career.

That's what I am hoping for. Although in the end the main goal still is that people find the content interesting and don't end up as empty subscribers but it would be nice to not have days with "0" subs anymore. The last few weeks there was only one day with "0" so I hope this carries on. It's quite encouraging.
 
Hey, I already read about it on Twitter but I had a feeling you'd open up a thread here as well ;) APPLAUSE is in order, not just because you gained 300 subs but because you upload consistently and haven't given up (unlike me *cough*)! :thumbsup2:

Thank you, that's nice of you to say :). I guess it will happen at some point, because apparently I can't stop watching YT videos and as long as I do that I'll always feel the urge to make videos myself... But it's gonna be a while.
