Hello,

So Im almost 4 months into my youtube adventure, and while I learned a lot, I hardly gained any subs or views. So looking for some hard critiques that can help me grow.

Thanks a lot!

I just want to say that your content is very well produced and edited. And your thumbnails look good. Maybe look at the titles of your videos - look into SEO to ensure that your videos have a chance to show up when people search for these topics. Do you share your videos anywhere on social media or other platforms?

Just keep going! You definitely have a very clean look to your videos so hopefully you gain some traction soon!

I agree with above said. Also, are you promoting subscriptions and likes/comments in your content? Looks like you have almost x5 more viewers than me, and I have 275 subscribers at this point, I think you should try to convert your viewers into subscribers.

Also (this said without looking at your content in detail), in my opinion I think it's hard to listen to someone talking about retirement at their 30's and that person is himself at roughly that age and.. well.. are you retired? What I'm saying is - why should anyone listen to someone promising things without having it? Or perhaps you do? As I said - I haven't watched your content.

However, if you're NOT retired, I'd definitely recommend a more humble and realistic approach, perhaps show what you are doing to get there, make it more personal and interesting to watch.

I am a firm believer that people watching your content are both interested in the content and in the content creator.

Finally - be more consistent with your content. The algorithm will severely punish you if you don't keep creating content on a regular basis. 5 videos in 4 months is OK, but no less than that in my opinion.

Hope my thoughts help!

thanks for the comments, yeah I share them on reddit and fb. Where most views come from. Yeah I am not retired yet, this is my journey into Retirement and all hustling and investing during the way. Yeah making it more personal might be a good thing. Yeah I noticed all the big youtubers have a big personality with a high likeability factor. (not sure if I can work on that though).

I am third in, and agree. Well shot and edited.

Unfortunately I will beat my dead horse. New channels on Youtube have little to no where to go.

As of early 2020 there was roughly 37 million channels on the platform. A rough estimate I found was 14 BILLION videos are on YT right now. The numbers are staggering.

What I am getting at is, hoping Youtube can suggest your channel or videos is near an impossibility.

I am not trying to discourage you, just the opposite. You have to be much more creative in promotion. I have posted on Reddit, Twitter (the best one for Youtube IMO) and Facebook (the worst IMO)... and even Tumblr for over 5-6 years. I never have put much into it other than a post with some hashtags, so I am not surprised at the lackluster results.

For you, find your niche, research it. Where do people go to see your kind of content, whether it be blog, video, article or podcast. Find a few that are successful, see if you can find anything unique about them, maybe how are they doing so well. Finally, if you are bold enough, hit some of those channels up and see if you can do a collaboration with them. Your videos are well done, so there is a good chance they might consider it.

Good luck with everything, welcome to the board!

Titles are make-or-break when it comes to your video’s performance. Ask yourself: are you presenting your content as “must-see” or “meh?”

The key to crafting killer titles is grabbing your audience’s attention without resorting to, https://sprizzy.com/****=jaime . People crave content that’s entertaining, and they likewise want to know what your video is about from the word “go.”

Perhaps consider something like YouTubeBuddy (I think thats what its called) or similar which lets you do A/B thumbnail testing.

The reason I mention this is that looking at the thumbnail for your above video, I am put off by the empty wallet.
Subconsciously you want people to think of themselves with full wallets.

So maybe the same thumbnail one with empty (current one) and one full of cash. Would be interesting in nothing else.

On your channel banner I would increase the padding between the words in your "hustle save invest live" motto as at the moment they flow together a bit too much. This will bring it closer to the length of the main channel title so maybe increase the padding between lines slightly as well.

Just some thoughts anyway. I'm no expert by any means !
