21 Views & We STILL Youtube!

I've Got It
I was just thinking. I mean, it could be the wine talking or the fact that I'm cramping right now and have been for more than a week even though I'm nervous because of that slip up I had with Tony about 2 weeks ago where I had to go take the morning after pill.

But anyway. I was just thinking. I keep reading your posts and comments and most of us don't have a big audience, don't get thousands of views and we aren't really anybody special on Youtube yet, we are still posting and still trying to be better at our hobby, our passion.

Do you know what that means? That means that we are the ones that Youtube forgets. No one may never see how much work I put into that 4 minute video and how many hours I spent trying to find the perfect song to go along with that photo montage which only got blocked in most countries because of copyright issues. No one cares about my channel! I put a lot of damn work into that channel for 6 years!

I put my heart and soul into my s**t. I'm not a videographer. I spend money on equipment, I even moved across the country to film a documentary about moving to LA and no one gives a damn. 390 videos. 6 years. 600 subs. I don't even watch my stats anymore. I just do it.

I do it because I'm a Youtuber dammit. This is fun for me. I love the feeling I have when I upload a new video and watch it for the first time. I feel like I'm not just a voyeur out there watching the game- I'M IN THE GAME! I'M PLAYING TOO!

I'm not on the sidelines. I am a Youtuber. And even when I only get 21 views, at least my light is still on.

I'm hear you. I am sometimes disappointed by the low views, but I'm still having fun crafting my videos - so as long as it's fun, I'll keep posting them. I've only been at it for 2 years ... but I don't see myself stopping anytime soon.

I'm only just starting out with regards to posting my own content but i've been directly involved with other youtubers videos since 2006 so i can sort of empathize with you. Sticking at it like you have is a real inspiration you are clearly dedicated and enjoy what you are doing and for that you have my respect
(and a sub) :)

As long as you don't stop, you'll be out there paving the road to success. It's only when you decide you stop that it will get worse and worse, viewers will leave and no subs will come... So always keep making videos, do it for the fun of it, then one day... BAAAAAMMM!

Hmmmm btw, I'm a documentary guy, I'll watch yours tonight and see if I know some tips. Okay? ;)

I think it's more of a not knowing when to put out what and how type of thing. I had some decent success, so I know I can get there again.
