Hi all,
Here is the deal. I have a YT channel for over 5 years now. Manage to get 205k subs and 50M+ views in total. My biggest problem this year is a sudden drop in views and especially subscribers. I've noticed a drop somewhere at the end of the year (27-30th December). I searched here for a solution before I've posted this and found one guy with the similar problem who has 80k subs, but you've all agreed that his biggest problem was that he didn't post anything in 11 months. My longest time period without posting a new video was maybe 2 weeks. The quality of videos is on the same level at least, if not better.
I've analyzed my past months with some more recent ones and I've found out that views from browse features (homepage I guess) went down from 75-80% to 40-45% on average.
Here is the comparison so you could easily get the point:
2020 vs 2019
January
February
March
At the end of February, I uploaded a video that got 250k views throughout the March and was really happy that the youtube algorithm finally recognizes my channel again, but that lasted for a few days and didn't affect other videos.
I don't know if I'm missing something or this is just some utter b******t by the youtube algorithm. I hope someone had the same/similar problem so if you did, please share your experience!
Best Regards
