2 Channels?

Ok so I have been thinking about starting to vlog and do some new types of videos but i also do a lot of skits with music (which I do not own the rights to). Should I have 2 separate channels so that one will actually be eligible for monetization/partnership or should i just monetize individual videos.

I think you should build up one channel first before you engage in another. That way, your audience can transfer in mass quantities.
