So I have filmed, edited and uploaded my 1st video, 50 Facts About Me

Do you think I should think of my own videos to stand out from everyone else?

Or until I get some more subscribers and views to just copy other videos, all the popular ones?

Any suggestions?

theres no blue print for video production - just do what you can/feel and always try and improving :)
 
Congratulations for your first UPLOAD! I would say DO NOT TRY TO COPY OTHERS! Show the audience what you really are. Your uniqueness will bring the audience to start watching your content. However you can make parody/spoof or reviews on the popular videos.

Find a porcupine and then headbutt it, then immediately after that chug 3 tall glasses of milk and one can of Coke as fast as you can and then spin in circles for 1 minute. I'd watch that
 
Make the videos you want to see. Would you want to see copies of popular videos? If so, then make those! Do you think there's something missing in the world of YouTube that you could do well? Make that! If you think more about what "people" want to see than what you'd like to see, you're going to just make content that doesn't have any passion to it, and that's going to wind up being no fun at all, for you or your viewers.

Happy first video! As a viewer I like to see channels that come up with new ideas or present old ideas in a different way (similar standards to when I see a remake of a movie I love). Do whatever comes easiest to you though, if doing popular videos will help you to get comfortable in front of the camera and gain confidence with your production skills, go for it! Every channel is different :)
 
Congrats on the first video, like others said, have fun and do what you want to do. It's up to you, you are the creator!
 
People connect with who they are watching better if they're honest and not trying to be something they're not. Obviously every single video you make won't be original but just do whatever is comfortable for you. It took me a while to realise this and I wish I'd learned it sooner xD
