1million views - zero income??[SOLVED!]

Hello,
i am confused and i'd like your opinion.
I created a video 3-4 months ago(with monetization) and to tell you the truth i forgot its existence.

Yesterday i checked it and it had :
  • around 1,4 million views
  • less than 1k likes
  • less than 300dislikes
  • around 150 comments.
I checked where the traffic comes from and the main source was youtube suggestion/list/search.

So, i have so many views and zero income.

Why is this happening?
Is this normal?
 
Maybe it has gotten a third party match or a copyright strike, so it doesn't give you any revenue?

I don't think there is a problem with copyrights cause there is a green dollar just right to my video.
 
If this is true what lunchbox said, which it looks like, you just earned someone a substantial amount of money :> pitty, if you would have tracked data on your youtube and possible managed to remove claim (if it's your original footage).
Edit, review then estimated earnings and check monetized views on your video, though it's hardly a case where you get 0 monetized views on 1.4kk views video.

I saw my video by using my smart phone and the 5 sec add before the video was displayed.
I will try to edit as you told,but if we assume there is no problem with copyrights what should i do?
Is there any network that pays per thousand views, so i don't have to wish people to click my adds?
 
What's the link to the video? By that we can see if it has been Content ID claimed.

Also, do you have an Adsense account linked to your channel?
 
Thanks to you @Shane and @Jawad Soomro i think i solved my problem..
I just had monetization on without any adsense account linked to my youtube channel.
I connected my accounts and i got a message that it will take up to 48hours.
Hope there is no other problem.

Just for the record, should i expect to get any money for those views?

I dont think this is possible but anyway glad that we helped to solve ur issue :D

That is strange that you could monetize videos without having adsense account linked first, haven't thought of that :) And no, you probably should not expect to get any money for views you gathered in past while there was no adsense linked to account.
