120 fps on a tight budget (video example)

I don't get it. There is no video description to define 'budget' or to explain how / what they used to record the footage with. How do we even know its 120? It would be useful if my iPhone could record in 120fps for some slow mo bits I do.
 
That's pretty cool! But I think they are pretending to be shooting with waaay more than 120 fps, lol! ^^
