I have finally reached 10 subscribers (I know, thats hardly anything). My goal is 100 subscribers by the end of the year (a bit too optimistic) and hopefully 1500 views. Thanks to everyone who has given me tips and feedback on my channel and have even subscribed.

Hey bro, congrats on the 10 subs, I was in a similar situation to yourself a few months back so I know exactly how your feeling, 10 subs is actually decent for your 1st month of creating videos, I had something similar when I started 2/3 months ago and am now on 51 subs (with 3,500 views) but honestly the best advice I can give you is don't be too concerned about subs/views (it takes time to get your videos noticed as YouTube is so saturated at the moment) just concentrate on producing videos that you truly enjoy making and in turn it will eventually reflect in the number of subs/views you get, either way keep it up bro and am sure you'll do ok (pretty sure you'll reach 100 subs by end of year as long as you promote yourself in the social networks and forums such as this).

My channel started in July 2006 and I had around 100 videos up and 0 subscribers until the end of 2013. People started subbing when I started getting involved in a modding community and was posting videos to show examples of what I was working on. I kind of wished they hadn't subscribed because I didn't want to disappoint them because I wasn't planning on regularly posting updates. I only used Youtube like a "Photobucket for videos" to show people things up to that point.

Just goes to show how it is hard to judge what is a good number of subs for a given amount of time. It really depends on what you did to get those subs. If you just uploaded the videos and that's it, it is pretty good. If you have done a lot to promote them, it might not be that good.
