why fake subscribers

Well, the past few days I saw channels with like 10K or 5K or 3K etc Channels with a lot of subscribers... But they have like 500 views... And that is really sad for a channel with 10K I think... So then you know that they faked their subscribers... With Sub4Sub or they paid for it or something...
