Youtube Premiere feature for videos

Hi everyone!

I just noticed youtube is suggesting a new toggle for me new uploaded unpublished videos - to attach a premiere to them, basically for the hype, as I understand?

I wonder have any of you actually used this and how many subscriber you had the point, and was it worth it? I think it's kind of pointless unless you have a certain amount of audience already? Unless this premiere placeholder pops up randomly in random people's playlists?

I have that also, BUT really do not see a use for it.
Maybe someday with a large following?
But I can pre schedule videos with TubeBuddy also if I ever wanted to.

Yep, all valid points. Experimenting right now with the video I have scheduled for tomorrow, and just enabled premiere for it - at least it gives me a public video page where people see the thumbnail, how much time left till air time, and an option to set reminder for that time - this might actually be useful :)

Also, a mini chat window on the right is present - a nice touch to provide limited time "live" conversation

mm, I think I need to try this also now, Thanks Ole!

i have access to it but i don't see it being a useful tool for smaller youtubers, probably larger youtubers or companies with big announcements.

I use it because there's no disadvantage (apart from being unable to watch the video at all, if you're adjusting cards, subtitles or end cards).
I don't have enough subscribers for the live chat to be of any use at this stage but I think it's awesome that viewers can set a reminder in the watch page (whether they're subscribed or not by the looks of it). Someone might click it? Bonus. If not, no loss.
Also if subscribers have opted in for updates from your channel, they get an email anyway it seems?:

I usually schedule all my videos anyway, so I don't see any reason not to get into the habit of using it now.
EDIT: I'm also grateful YouTube didn't put any limitations like view count, watch time, subscribers etc...

I just found a potential advantage (disadvantage too depending on how you look at it). When you Premiere a video, it can be found in search results.
