Youtube Partnership

Hello there!

I'm Mike, a guy that plays games, and sometimes records :p
So, I've recently got a e-mail from the Union For Gamers, saying that I'm accepted in the network.
However, the e-mail stated that my channel has to be released from the network which it is in (Youtube partner).
So, I am a full partner with all partner features.
Can I leave this youtube partnership?

Sincerely,
Mike

I believe you can just like an adsense via accepting...

However with a channel your size Curse might not be the best choice.

Have you talked with other networks?

Sorry, but I don't really understand what you're saying.

But, what are the bad points of Curse then?
(I'll probably just try it, since I can leave at any time because it's not a lock in contract :)

Curse has a high revenue share (90%) but mid to lower CPMs from partners I've talked to. Some only had $3 or lower CPM prior to youtube/network taking their cuts. Granted, I've heard of a lot worse CPMs (esp with BBTV...) but also there are a lot better. For example: I'm around 4x that amount.

I'll see how it goes at curse, eventually I'll end the contract and switch over, It's a non lock in :)

All right, good luck.

Just read the contract carefully, if it says "no lock in, you can leave any time you want" that is good but it could easily say something more like "You can leave anytime you want, if you give us 30 days warning, and you forfeit any remaining unpaid profits, and you have a valid reason"

However, back to the topic, how would I be able to cancell the youtube partnership?
Like I said, I believe it will let you leave just like adsense which means when you get a network invite it will confirm that you are leaving.
