How does the youtube partnership even work ? i have always thought about that and if you guys and girls have any idea please share it to here ! :)
 
YouTube is paid by advertisers to advertise their products. YouTube partners people and places advertisements. The partner gains revenue according to how many people watch and/or click the advertisements.
 
You basically get paid for being a YouTube partner, but you have got to upload videos regularly in order for you to remain a YouTube partner.
I will get a YouTube partnership soon, I am going to wait until my channel get's more views and subscribers and hopefully this should lead me to getting a YouTube partnership.;)

You don't need to wait for anything, you just turn it on and you're good to go...
 
Talking about this "turn it on and you're good to go". I see commercials on vids from smaller channels, but they are not partnered. Does that mean they just turned the option on from Adsense?
 
The general recommendation for everyone:

  • Join adsense if you want, but be sure you know what you are allowed to and not allowed to upload to youtube.

  • Don't consider joining a network until you are getting at least 10,000 views per month, ideally 100,000.
