Hey guys,
Does everybody know how pretty much everybody in select countries gets partnership with youtube? We have been waiting for a partner banner and background for ages. Lets all group together and call youtube to make them give us these features, who's with me!?!?
 
uhh, a Banner is something that you earn... They already gave out thumbnails and such... If you're channel is good then you'll eventually get the banner!
 
I honestly hope they don't give those out to anybody like the do the thumbnails. It makes me feel like I have earned something and almost all of those perks have been taken away. The little banner above the videos with the new layout and the thumbnails before that. All we have for the visible perks is that banner.

There is a difference between being a full partner and what you have. They should call it Silver Partnership or something to avoid this confusing. Basically you just have monetized videos. No support or anything like that. It's almost impossible to get every video monetized and even then imo you're in danger to lose your adsense at any time. When your with a network your getting paid through them and not adsense. You can monetize every video without any problems.
 
Yes but I do t want to partner with a network. Can I still earn these features directly from youtube and what subs/views threshold to I need to pass?

I am pretty sure the only way to get all those features with YouTube directly is if YouTube invites you...your best bet would be to apply to networks.
