Youtube Partnership/Network Partnership - can you have both?

Loving YTtalk
can you have both the youtube partnership and network partnership at the same time? Like earn from both of them( 2 pay slips)? or does the network partnership override your youtube partnership with adsense enabled? Just curious since i plan to apply to Union for gamers once i hit the requirements.

One more question: does earnings from countries outside the US differ? how do ads actually get picked to be put on a video.

Thanks! hope you guys can answer my question. I know you will lol.

Adsense alone would make you more money... because if you're with a network they take a cut, after youtube takes a cut. So when you're with a network two people take a cut before you get any money. Where as with adsense only youtube take a cut.

ohh i see. Never thought about it that way. Does it make sense for a gaming channel not to network with a gaming network? Say if you got direct permission from a gaming company to use their game and create content. I only plan to play one game for my channel so i just want to weigh things out for the best deal.

Well i'm not really sure if the company would even give you permission tbh, I don't think many people have had success doing so? What game is it that you want to upload? I'd recommend just going with a network if you're a gaming channel, just to be on the 'safer' side..

Its an old MMO dinosaur actually, Ragnarok Online if you heard about it. Not sure how copyright jurisdictions work in korea(origin of game) But i haven't gotten any strikes other than old videos way back when i wasn't partnered but that was for copyrighted music. The new videos i recently make have audio i got permission to use. I even too a precautionary step of not using in-game music.

As long as you're not monetizing those videos they should be fine, I suggest you go with a network and then monetize your videos!
