Youtube Monetization = Then ACTUAL Partnership?

I am wondering if you monetize your videos on YOUTUBE (meaning you partner with youtube) can you then partner with another NETWORK such as TGS, TGN, RPM, MAKER, CURSE, etc... On one of my other channels, I monetized with youtube then later (couple of weeks) I partnered with RPM Networks....

Now, I created another channel which I am more aware how Youtube works, ways of SEO, and Network knowledge... If I partner with Youtube(monetization) can I then partner with another Network? *My main reason is to create custom thumbnails... but I will still do my best to create videos and promote my channel until I reach a certain amount of subscribers and Parter with Curse or TGN... (mainly curse since they have no-lock in and have a public contract so anyone can view it)
Thanks Yttalk forum.

Yep :) You can. You can get custom thumbnails without a network though.

If I go from Youtube Monetization, then a ACTUAL NETWORK. Does the network stick to the same %, years, and contract details that Youtube offers?

Can you get custom thumbnails without Monetization. I heard people getting custom thumbnails without Monetization form Youtube.

I currently have 40+ subs... If I partner with Youtube.... then...
I get 800+ subs or 1,000... Can I then leave Youtube Monetization towards a NETWORK?
Thank You!

No, not the same %/years.

YouTube pays out 100%. Networks typically pay out 60-80%. There are some that claim to pay out 100% (TGN) but that is b******t and they take a secret 40% cut.

Duration wise, there is no lock in for AdSense. Almost all networks have lock ins, meaning you are stuck.

Yes, you can absolutely partner later. If you do, you will get a much better deal because you are worth more. I absolutely recommend waiting with adsense for as long as possible (or forever) before joining a network. (read my signature)

Do you think its a good idea or a great move to monetize (partner youtube) and get thumbnails... then go for a larger/better partnership when I get more subscribers? Is this possible when someone monetizes with youtube?

Is this what you mean by waiting with adsense?

"Thinking about getting a partnership? Don't. You probably don't need one and if you sign when you're a small channel you're just getting shafted.
Am I partnered? Yes. I am currently on a 3 month (yes, months) contract at 75-25. I turned down 3 offers that were 90-10 or better for more support. Do your research. Don't get shafted.
Why I am wasting space in my signature telling you this? Because this forum is full of people who think getting partnered is a golden ticket"

Who did you partner with a 3 months deal? And did you tell them that you had others waiting before they offered you that deal? What should be my move if I am a gaming channel and I'd like to partner with Curse/TGN/TGS.
Thanks You!

Yes. If you partner when small you have no ability to negotiate what so ever.
Small channels don't even have many options.
If you are getting 10k views per month or more, then you get options.
If you have 100k views per month, you get a bit of negotiating power.
If you get 1m views per month, you get real negotiating power.

Monetize with adsense immediately, don't partner for as long as possible for the above reasons. "Wait with adsense" for as long as possible, rather than joining a network immediately.

The network I ended up signing with knew I was comparing offers. If you are smart you will compare offers too. It makes them know you should be taken seriously and they can't lowball you (make a starting offer and expect you to accept it).
My current network does lots of 3 month trials. I will be signing again soon probably for 6 or 9 months.

Curse - I don't think they are still offering their fixed $3. Sad. Their CPM on their 90/10 isn't very good.
TGN - Their CPM is even worse. I've talked with tons of parnters earning $.5-$.7 CPM. Which is awful.
TGS - very high requirements, I dislike how long they lock in for (2 years). I've heard good and bad experiences with them.

Thanks!

This is my move and want your opinion. I also would like to know if you did this step and how many subscribers you had when you first Partnered. (If you even recall, lol)

I will Parter with YOUTUBE by "Enabling Monetization".
As time flies, I will hopefully earn more subs and Parter with another Network. (Curse, tgs, etc...)

Can I do this? Is this possible? I enable monetization, then leave towards another network as if I never monetized. (Kind of like parter-ing for the first time)

*I just needs them Custom Thumbnails... Thanks Again!

P.S. I searched your username with "youtube/user/flammy5" and then searched you as "youtube/flammy" is redirects you to your channel just in case you didn't know.[DOUBLEPOST=1372289269,1372287074][/DOUBLEPOST]I need your input! D:[DOUBLEPOST=1372290129][/DOUBLEPOST]I saw /threads/i-need-help-with-my-new-channel.68792/#post-641057 & it answered my question. But if you answer it, it would be nice.

views per month are much more important when negotiating (views = money, subs =/= money). I was at 1.2 million views per month when I partnered. I believe it was around 40k subs.

You won't get any promotion via any network unless it is written in the contract. Which won't happen unless you're big. Even hub channels typically have requirements + limitations + further applications to get approved to post to them. that varies a lot by network.

absolutely, they don't care if you were with adsense. most people were.

you can get this while with adsense. It should unlock relatively fast (within a month I'd estimate). I can't remember the exact current requirements (not size, but something like length your channel has been around without community strikes for example)

P.S. I searched your username with "youtube/user/flammy5" and then searched you as "youtube/flammy" is redirects you to your channel just in case you didn't know.
Yeah I know. I got that set up special, actually. Gotta ask google to do it. Only because 'flammy' had previously been abandoned.
