YouTube free partner promotion program

Has anyone used youtubes free partner promotion programme? I wanted to know if it was any good and if i would actually benefit from it. Hope it works well.

YouTube's partnership isn't as good as it used to be. I'd suggest going for some network. Especially if you're a gamer.

I've it ticked all the time and it helps me. Sometimes my own videos are even recommend to me, so at least with that I know it's working.
