YouTube creators WILL be compensated in Novemeber

So I know a lot of people have had concerns about not getting revenue from YouTube Red in November, so they have changed their minds. It's free for the user, and creators still get compensated. So you can breathe a sigh of relief if you were worried. The article where I got this information: bbc.com/news/technology-34657277

Just to clarify, creators will not be paid if/when their viewers are in the free trial period. The reason why some money will be coming in right away is because current subscribers to Google Play Music are being transitioned to YouTube Red (with Google Play Music included), and as they are paid subscribers, the program will generate some revenue right away.

I guess it's better than nothing. I am just curious how many Google Play subscribers there are compared to new YouTube Red subscribers. I'd actually imagine there are many more Google Play subscribers at the moment, since it's been around much longer.

that was the only thing that irked me a bit on YT Red , so I'm glad there is some good news regarding November. :) I'll keep an eye on things

That is a relief. I had no clue what I was going to do without that 25 cents I would not have made that month.
