Youtube Channel Turning Point Explosive Growth

Hi all,

What has been a turning point for your Youtube Channel to experience explosive growth?
Was it after 100, 1000, 2000, 10 000 ... subscribers or 1000, 5000, 10 000, 50 000, 100 000 ... channel views?

Is there a turning point where things just start to pick up and gain momentum like subscribers and views?

Thanks :)

I heard that from around 2000 subscribers you are going to start snowballing. I don't know this for sure because obviously I'm nor will be that big but I've heard it from a lot of people so I guess it could be kinda true!

Very interesting Duncan.

2k subs absolute minimum to start getting some real traffic.
5k subs to start getting placements on suggested that lead to sporadic short term traffic gains
10k subs for more stable suggested placements and consistency in daily sub growth
20k subs channel starts to grow organically
30k-50k subs channel starts to grow via good suggested placements, organic traffic, consistent daily sub gains

Every stage needs consistent high quality front and back end work. Complacency leads to very quick and dramatic traffic and sub growth drops.

i think if every video views exceeds the limit 350 to 1000 views, it will start snowballing and it may pull other videos.

Best answer. But I've heard 10k from a bunch of people before too

I'm at 2300 subscribers and I've been creating content for just over 2 years now.

When I look at my channel stats I don't see any meaningful step change, just a gradual increase in views per month etc. which has been reasonably consistent over the last 2 years.

Possibly one of best pieces of advice.

Wow thanks for this list! It makes total sense, and just reading it motivates me to work harder to get to those numbers!
