I'm asking because you should apply to become partnered. Monetizing with YouTube honestly doesn't do much and I've seen a lot of people suggest that you wait to Monetize till after you get partnered.

Actually for Minecraft Networks don't require commentaries. Minecraft is like the only game that doesn't care about usage rights. They want you to upload stuff about their game. But for other games like CoD and stuff, they require networking to upload a video. And your network has to have usage rights with them.
