haha, thanks! we actually had a recording that was "cleaner" (from the mic seen on the ground). However, i liked the raw feel of the video, so I kept the original audio (from the onboard camera mic). the problem I was running into with the recorded audio was that I couldn't get the audio to sound like it was naturally coming from our mouths (volume issues mostly, couldn't find a happy medium).

but i will keep that in mind on my next video. audio editing and mastering is (unfortunately) one of my weaker skills. I do appreciate the input though!
