Hey guys super happy because I just reached my first 50 subs ! Nice to know that this hobby is starting to pay off woo. Onwards and upwards from here !
Lots of love from New Zealand
Congrats! Its always good to see some results of our hard work. Good luck in the future!

I was stuck on 40 subscribers for months when I kinda just started ahaha. Congrats, you should be proud :)

That's amazing! I just looked at your channel and your quality is really there! Keep it up :)

I checked out your channel also and you are doing so well ! Since you have been doing this a bit longer than me I would love any tips you have ! I know it's not all about subscribers and I genuinely love making videos ! But does it get easier after your first 100 subs ? I can't wait until I have a bit more of a following to interact with x

I've been making videos on and off since November 2009... it's been a slow and steady process for me.

Here's my advice, for what it's worth:

1. Film the videos that you enjoy filming. Personally, I don't enjoy editing, and if I plan to make a video that requires a lot of editing, it usually won't make it's way to YouTube because I'm too lazy to film it. Youtube should be fun, and if it is, you'll find a way to be entertaining with those limitations.

2. Be kind to people. Reply to comments, and comment on other people's videos. For years, I used to be the kind of person who watched videos silently - never leaving any comments. Then I would feel "bad" that no one was commenting on mine. One day it clicked, if I try to make other people feel good by leaving friendly comments, maybe I'll attract the same kind of people to my videos. Now I have a (small) community of friendly people who watch my videos regularly, and it's really nice.

3. Don't expect anything from people. Don't get offended by the thumbs down-ers and the unsubscribers. Not everyone's going to like you, and that's ok.
