Will this affect my channel?

Hey Guys,
So my account is enabled for monetization through youtube. I enabled this a while ago when my channel was very small because i was rushing into things and not doing my research. Now i have learned through this forum that in many peoples opinions it is better to partner with a network.

I have heard that enabling monetization can slow down the process if you wish to partner with a network. Is this true? I have not linked an adsense accound with my youtube channel, and i have not enabled monetization on any of my videos yet. It says i have 15 videos to get monetized.

Should i disable monetization or just leave it how it is?

Thanks for the advice in advance. I know the forum is amazing and can muster up some great advice.

I wouldnt worry about it to be honest. You can disable your adsense at any time so if it is a problem then it's easily resolved. If your aim is to get partnership then I'd be more focused on trying to get a bigger audience on my videos before worrying about stuff like this :p

yeah thanks man. I am working on uploads more regularly and gain more subs. Once i am there i will continue looking for a network. :)

Monetization is no problem. You actually need it to get partnered. The problem is when you enable adsense and link it to your youtube account. And you want to get partnered. The network needs to ask youtube to unlink adsense from your youtube. You can't simply delete adsense. Also if you have adsense or just monetization enabled you can add ads on your video's but when you do this your video's may get shut down, copyright problems etc.
Especially with gaming channels. Games are copyrighted. Most of the time it's ok to upload but not to monetize unless you are partnered.

You won't have an issue partnering with a network if you monetize your videos. You'll just have to unlink your adsense and then the network will link your youtube account to their adsense. I took a look at your videos-if you run into any music copyright issues from youtube, make sure you list the type of license it has and a link back to the website where the license is in your description. That helps if youtube ever hassles you about music usage.
