Why you shouldnt have the feed tab as default on YouTube

I Love YTtalk
Hey everyone,

This is my first on camera video since quite a while, in this video I talk about some reasons as to why I think you shouldnt use the feed tab as your default tab and also why I think you should use the featured tab instead. Hopefully this will help guide some newcomers to YouTube with setting up and presenting their channels.

Thank you for watching :)

Yeah I learn't after a few weeks to put the featured tab instead people go straight to your videos and not what you have been watching commenting on etc.

It certainly helps with keeping people interested, when people land on the feed I think people at times assume they dont make their own videos.

Yeah definitely, and also I like to organise playlists with the different types of videos we have done like the make up one and VEDA videos etc.

I would certainly organise them if you can, there's a person I know who has lots of varied content and every time I go to re-watch one of their videos I have to scroll through loads just to find specific ones, its a pain and it would be so much easier having them well organised. This video isnt going in a playlist just yet, I have to think of something suitable as a title for when I do some more like this one :)

Look at Michael! Is that the new camera? It looks great. Also great video, very helpful. It annoys me when people use the Feed tab instead of the Featured tab.

Haha it indeed is :D Thank you Stef, it's amazing how well it works, I am in the UK of all lovely places, outside it was very dull overcast weather and I had no lights on at all and with a little bump of the ISO it turns out splendidly well :D Thanks Stef, hopefully I will be able to convince people to use the featured tab who dont already as I know there is a few who dont still. It is a really stupid default setting.
