Why is my Estimated Earnings higher than the Gross Revenue?

I've Got It
I am having this weird problem for 2-3 months now and that is that my Estimated earnings are higher them my Gross Revenue. According to me that can’t be possible can it? Because the gross revenue is supposed to be the earnings before YouTube takes his cut which means that the Gross earnings need always to be higher than my estimated earnings. Considering the fact that the estimated earnings are after YouTube takes his cut.

Because of this I am always receiving a lot less money than what I am seeing on my estimated earnings tab because YouTube only works with the gross earnings. So my question is did anyone here ever experience this and if yes what do i need to do to fix this? I am really confused because I just can’t know what I am going to earn because of this.

So again if anyone can help me maybe someone that has a network or something and knows more please let me know.

Shawn, I run a sub-network as well as having a channel partnered with Curse. I'm curious about the magnitude. Yes, the Gross Revenue panel is the cost to the advertiser and the Estimated Earnings is after YouTube has taken it's cut, so there isn't really a time where that would be reversed.

Also, have you messaged Curse support about it? And do the numbers jive with the Curse Dashboard?

Yes I have contacted Curse about this couple of times but they told me that it’s YouTube that is doing it and that Curse has nothing to do with it. And I am not blaming curse for this because like they are saying I myself think that it’s YouTube that is not counting my earnings good enough. The numbers on Curse dashboard count what my estimated earnings count but always at the end of the month I lose more than 1000 dollars on monthly bases because of this. My los depends on what I am earning of course but on good months I lose a lot of money because of the way YouTube is counting my earnings.

But like I said before it is just not normal for me to have a higher estimated earnings than gross revenue because like you said estimated earnings needs to be lower than gross earnings that’s just a fact.
